The first feature length motion picture for INSP is a warm holiday tale. Christmas in the Smokies stars Sarah Lancaster as a woman who discovers there really is some magic in the holidays.

Shelby (Lancaster) has lived in a small town all her life. She and her parents own and run a berry farm, which produces a variety of fruit for their delectable creations: pies, jams, etc. The farm means everything to Shelby so when she learns they might lose the farm she goes into panic mode. Their debt is enormous. How can she raise enough money to save the farm?

On top of her concerns is the fact that the land is being eyed by a business developer who wants to bring the small community into the 21st century with big businesses instead of the small businesses that make up the charm of the town.

There is one more thing causing stress for this hard-working, well-liked, and good-meaning young woman. Her former boyfriend, Mason Wyatt (Alan Powell), who had left her years ago, has returned. Mason is a sore spot for Shelby. She hates him for running out on her, yet the feelings they shared are still there. Love runs deep.

Mason is a somewhat successful country singer and has come home to organize his life. His career is rising but he hasn’t had that really big break yet. Mason’s feelings for Shelby are as strong as hers for him, however neither one of them knows it. The only person who realizes they belong together is her father (Barry Corbin), who does everything to get them together.

When it looks like the farm is going to be foreclosed on, Mason agrees to a benefit concert to help raise the needed funds to keep the farm up and running. But will that be enough?

In the end, Shelby manages to save her family farm on her own. Thanks to a “Christmas Miracle” things will finally be okay for her…and Mason.
