Mutiny’ is now available for home viewing

Jason Statham is front and center in this high impact drama. Mutiny is filled with intrigue and action from the first scene to the last.
Statham is Cole Reed, a former police officer who is now the bodyguard for Tibu Campallo (Ramon Tikaram), a successful Thai business man who owns and operates a large shipping company. After building up the company from nothing, Tibu decides to sell it so his son Kameron (Chaneil Kular) will not be tied to the family business and free to follow his own dreams. But someone is against this sale.
When Tibu is killed in an ambush which was meant to also kill Reed, things get very dramatic. The killers have deep ties to the Bangkok police, so who can Reed turn to for help? It’s obvious. He is more than capable of tracking down the killers himself. And that is exactly what he sets out to do.
Reed knows the killer is on the next ship leaving the harbor. Through some diversion, he gains access to the ship so he can track down the killers and find out why his friend was murdered.
But instead of simply rooting out the murders, Reed comes across an international ring of smugglers and traffickers. Now, not only does he want to get the people responsible for killing Tibu, he also wants to expose the dirty business that apparently has been going on for awhile without the knowledge of Tibu or anyone in his upper management. These guys are ruthless.
Aided by newly arrived third officer Angie Ellis (Annabelle Wallis), who is just as surprised by this discovery as he is, they set out to free the people who are being trafficked, and also get those responsible for both this illegal operation and for killing Tibu.
To say this is a simple task is unrealistic. These people are armed to the teeth. These scenes are not for anyone who is squeamish about blood. There are intense cat and mouse games throughout the ship and one by one the traffickers are taken out.
Once again, Statham proves he is a can-do actor who can take on the most dangerous situations. His character is tough, sensitive, loyal, and determined. Throughout his long and successful career, he has played a variety of characters, both humorous and gritty. In this role he shows he still has what it takes to be an action hero.
This is an entertaining movie that will capture the attention of viewers from the very first scene.
Mutiny is available now to rent vial Premium Video on Demand and to buy via Premium Electronic Sell Thru on participating digital platforms where movies are purchased, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango, Google TV, YouTube, MoviesAnywhere, and more.
