Great American Media Nationwide Book Hunt and a fun romance film - ‘Meet Me in the Margins’
Category: Television and Streaming
The new movie, Meet Me in the Margins, stars Merritt Patterson and Liam McIntyre in a literary fable inspired by bestselling author Melissa Ferguson’s romance novel. The story involves Savannah (Patterson) and Will Pennington (McIntyre), whose relationship turns from business to romantic in an unusual way.
Will is the head of a publishing company that publishes non-fiction books. Savannah is one of the editors there, however she holds a secret desire to write a romance novel.
Actually, Savannah does have a manuscript she feels is ready to publish. But when the editor at that other publishing house tells her she likes the story but it needs more work, Savannah knows she has to dig deeper to attain her dream of being a published author.
One night she accidentally leaves her manuscript in a back rook at work. When she retrieves it she discovers notes in the margins. Initially perturbed that someone has taken to read and edit her words, she begins to wonder who that person is. It has to be someone in the office. But whom?
Every day she rewrites portions of the manuscript and leaves the revision in the same secret place, along with comments about the person who is editing her work. How dare he. But she has to admit the story is getting better with the help of this unknown editor.
Through the days that it takes to rewrite the manuscript, with the help of the secret editor, Savannah becomes entranced by this mysterious person.
Yep, you guessed it. It is Will.
Through just the comments in the margins of the manuscript, these two have come to know each other and come to feel more deeply about each other. What else would you expect from a fun, romance film?
