DreamWorks Dragons Adventure World Explorer, is a one-of-a-kind, location-based mobile game that uses GPS mapping to transform the family drive into a real-time, immersive gaming adventure for kids. The game, inspired by “How to Train Your Dragon 2” takes one of the hottest animated films of 2014 and turns it into fun on the road or at home. The game offers 38 different quests to fine-tune your dragon training and flying skills while bringing the real world into the game. Unique location-based services and mapping technology lets kids fly in the fictional Isle of Berk as influenced by the world right outside their window. Real-world streets, points of interest, and traffic are transformed into the game using HERE Maps and real-time weather is reflected in the game based on information from The Weather Channel. Even popularity data from Foursquare determines the number of Vikings that appear near points of interest. It’s amazing to see the world around you populate right on your screen and it helps kids in the car connect with the world around them as they play. Dragons Adventure World Explorer makes every car ride a magical experience!
