Featuring the beloved characters from VeggieTales, this Step-by-Story series for Fingerprint helps kids associate words, sounds and pictures in preparation for reading. Kids have fun while learning key character values around sharing, using imagination and making friends.
Every element of the app is built on classic principles of child development and a deep understanding of children’s play patterns. Stories are short and easy to create, so young children can experience the fulfillment that comes from completing a task without help from an adult.
Each story can be experienced in 3 modes. In the Play mode, the story is read to the child, In the Make mode, the story can be arranged screen by screen to create a unique version of the same plotline. And in the Silly mode, screens arrange randomly, making a laugh-out-loud crazy story. The series includes:
- The Goofy Gift – Kids create stories about Larry the Cucumber, Bob the Tomato and others as they give goofy gifts and learn about giving.
Thanks for the Franks – The Gourd Brothers are famous for their love of hot dogs. This story teaches that sharing makes friends.- Larry’s Missing Music – Larry makes music with the strangest of instruments including a Bangamajig and a Strumbrella. This story inspires imagination.
- I am that Hero – Larryboy is a special hero. He can fly, drive and use suction cup ears to rescue friends. This app encourages children to take care of their friends.
The Step-by-Story VeggieTales Collection is available only on the Fingerprint network, that uses the one-of-a kind, in-App Mom Comm feature allowing kids to share with their parents. Whether through notes or voice recordings where parents can encourage their kids, Fingerprint is the first app platform that encourages kids to have a dialogue about their play.
Available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Goofy Gift is Free ($0.99 for each additional story. Full Collection available for $2.99)

Your child’s first bike is an iconic gift and now with KinderFeets you can give it for an even younger birthday! Made for kids as young as two, the KinderFeets push bike helps your child learn biking skills quicker, easier and at a younger age. This patented wooden push bike is a low-to-the-ground, small training bicycle without pedals that allows your child’s feet to touch the ground and features wooden pegs for them to rest their feet on while they glide. The balance bike is a more natural way to learn bike riding than a tricyle or using training wheels. The designers own son used the bike when he was two and before age three was riding a normal bike without training wheels.
