The flowers are blooming, the sky is blue, the butterflies are flying, and the sun is shining. It’s spring! But what is spring? In Curious George Swings Into Spring, the adorable little monkey learns all about the season and tries to give his good pal Hundley a little Spring Fever.

We all know the good intentioned little guy sometimes causes mishaps. Well, this time is no different. George unintentionally causes some problems in the apartment building, forcing everyone out for a few days while the pipes are all replaced. But little Hundley has no place to go. So he ends up going to the country with George and the Man. Little Hundley is homesick and cannot seem to understand the fun in country life.

George tries everything to show Hundley what spring is all about. He introduces him to the bunnies, the chickens, and everything in the country. But Hundley is having nothing to do with them. Then Hundley goes to a farm filled with other dachshunds. That’s where he finally feels at home. However that’s not the end of the story. When the little dog gets lost it’s up to George to take to the skies to find his friend.

Curious George Swings Into Spring is a fun show with some happy, appealing songs that will give everyone Spring Fever. It was produced in 2013 but never loses its charm. The movie will air on PBS Kids March 30 and April 3, 2015.

Two brand new Curious George episodes will air that week giving young viewers a fun intro to the season and a lot of viewing enjoyment. “George’s Curious Dragon Dance” and “Bowling for Bobolinks” will premier March 31. In the first, George learns about the Chinese New Year and in the second he learns how to separate the bowling shoes for the customers by size, color, and age. And “Curious George’s Amazon Adventure” and “Monkey Senses” will premier April 1. George loves to return to the Amazon and make new friends, even if they are fun-loving monkeys who take off with the camera – with George hot on their trail. George is always full of fun and surprises and these two new episodes (4 new shows in all) have plenty of monkey fun for all Curious George fans.

Curious George follows the STEM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, and math) so even though kids think they are just enjoying a cute little show, they are actually learning at the same time. Shh. Don’t tell them. Just let them have fun with George and the gang.

Happy Spring from Curious George.
