GeoPalz, thought leaders in the wearable fitness tech industry, have just released their latest product, iBitz, for kids and families. The iBitz are a fitness and rewards platform, which uses a new gaming peripheral to convert a child’s real life physical activity into coins, game tokens, and rewards.

Two iBitz devices are available: iBitz PowerKey for children ($34.99) and iBitz Unity for adults ($49.99) and can be worn on the hip or shoe. Both are colorful, lightweight devices that employ advanced accelerometer technology to monitor family physical activity. iBitz PowerKey and Unity each have their own corresponding free app available for download in the Apple App Store. iBitz devices wirelessly transmit details of the user’s physical activity to the apps on iOS devices via Bluetooth 4.0.
