It’s the YEAR OF THE HORSE!

The Lunar New Year celebrations have kicked off at the Disneyland Resort with new outfits, 35 new food and beverage options, and Far East celebrations. Guests can also meet and greet Red Panda Mei from Turning Red. The Sip and Savor Pass is once again an option for sampling a variety of food.

Guests can ring in the Year of the Horse with Clarabelle Cow and Goofy in their all-new outfits inspired by traditional Vietnamese attire during Lunar New Year in Disney California Adventure park in Anaheim, Calif., from Jan. 23 through Feb. 22, 2026. This joyous festival honors Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean traditions with spectacular experiences, limited-time cuisine, themed décor and fun-filled activities. A bit of Polynesia at the Disneyland Hotel

Disney fans know about the Polynesian Resort in Walt Disney World. But many people don’t know about Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, which adds a touch of Polynesia to the Disneyland resort. This restaurant/bar is located on the grounds of the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim adjacent to the pool. But you don’t have to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy some exotic-inspired food and beverages. Just head over to the Disneyland Hotel and enjoy!

The food offerings range from Poke Bowl, a Wagyu Hawaiian Cheeseburger that includes a slice of pineapple (it’s delicious and can be ordered without the bacon and with an Impossible burger), a Hawaiian Platter, a Pupu Platter, Chicken Tenders, Tonkotsu Ramen, an Island Chopped Salad, and more. Everything is infused with a bit of island flair.

There is a Kid’s menu as well but the variety is limited.

Cheeseburgers, Chicken Teriyaki Bowls, and Salmon Teriyaki Bowls are offered for the younger guests.

As for their specialty drinks (with alcohol however you have the option of ordering without alcohol) there are so many from which to choose. And they all, like the food, are infused with tropical flair. There are several “Sam’s No-Booze Brews”  specifically made for non-alcoholic options. Of course, beer and wine are also on the menu, but while you’re here you really should take advantage of their tropical concoctions.

And speaking of tropical concoctions, this is the only place at the resort outside of Disneyland itself, where guests can enjoy a Dole Whip (which can include coconut shavings for a truly tropical flavor of pineapple and coconut) and a Dole Whip Float (with or without a splash of rum).

The Enchanted Tiki Bar is decorated just as if you were in a bar in Hawaii or Tahiti. There are pictures, tropical hanging lights, wall decorations and plenty of fun everywhere you turn. Plus, there is even the jug from UP where Ellie and Carl saved their coins for their trip to Paradise Falls.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is connected to Tangaroa Terrace for quick take out and counter service. The patio is a nice place to sit and relax while enjoying your food and/or beverage. Both Trader Sam’s and Tangaroa Terrace have the same kitchen and menu. It’s up to you whether you prefer to dine inside surrounded by the Polynesian atmosphere or outside surrounded by the Disney aura with the towers of the Disneyland Hotel and gardens.

This is just one more option for food and beverages at the Disneyland Resort.
